Lesson 74
We looked at:
- A new development in Alberta (and discussed how talking between communities - and education - is necessary to prevent resentment)
- The controversy surrounding a yet un-aired show in which residential school denialism, politics, humour, Indigenous activism, and the public broadcaster are intertwined.
We finished "Kiiwen" and reviewed the chapter. We also took a look at this brief reel related to the tradition of cutting hair during the loss of a loved one.
We began reading "Locks Mean Nothing to Ghosts," in which we got to page 226.
Students received their notes - we will pick up here after the long weekend. Have a wonderful time!
